Two killed in mishaps

NEW DELHI: Two young men were killed in two road accidents that took place in different parts of the Capital on Thursday.

In the first accident, 22-year-old Mahesh died on the spot at the ESI Hospital red light in Okhla district when a Municipal Corporation of Delhi truck allegedly hit him while he was driving his scooter. In the other accident that took place at Mithapur Chowk in Badarpur area, a 32-year-old visually handicapped beggar, Rajpal, was killed on allegedly being hit by a container vehicle.
