CHENNAI: Police have made alternative arrangements for vehicle parking in T.Nagar, including a few schools on all holidays with effect from Saturday, a release said. A total of 50 cars can be parked on the eastern side of Muthurangan Salai, 200 on G.N.Chetty Road (bridge construction side from Prakasam Road to Vani Mahal signal), 50 on Somasundaram playground, 500 two-wheelers and 100 cars on Thiyagaraya Road (south side four-wheeler and north side two-wheeler – full stretch), 50 cars at Venkatnarayana Road (southern side - TTD Information Centre to Kannadasan Street), and 200 cars at G.N.Chetty Road (bridge construction side from Vani Mahal signal to North Boag Road junction). About 200 two-wheelers each can be parked at the Corporation Higher Secondary School, Prakasam Road, Ramakrishna Main School, and Ramakrishna School (South) Burkit Road. Private paid parking would be available at the following places: 300 two-wheelers can be parked at J.K.Parking, Ramanathan Street, 75 cars at S.B.Parking Ramanathan Street, 150 two-wheelers and 50 cars at Ratna Parking Natesan Street, 200 two-wheelers each at Rakesh Parking Gild Street and Nachiyar Parking Mahalakshmi Street and 150 two-wheelers at Vadivel Parking Motilal Street, the release said.
