French delegation visits Port Trust

CHENNAI: A 21-member French delegation, headed by Monique Rabin, on Thursday visited Chennai Port Trust and held discussions with Port Chairman K. Suresh on facilities available, infrastructure, operations, developments and upcoming projects at the port. The delegation members later paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister and Chief Secretary.

An Australian team headed by Joe Tripodi, Minister for Small Business, New South Wales, also visited the Chennai Port to explore possibilities for business developments, says an official release.
