18 promoted as Superintendents of Police

CHENNAI: Eighteen Additional Superintendents of Police were promoted as Superintendents of Police on Thursday.

Balan-SP, Video Piracy Cell CID, Chennai; A.V. Rajaraman-SP, Special Task Force, Erode; I. Balashanmugam-SP, Southern Range, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Madurai; T. Elango-DC, Crime and Traffic, Salem city; M. Pandian-DC, Traffic (Central), Chennai Police; S. Rajendran-SP, Enforcement, Madurai; S. Muthusamy-SP, Crime Branch-1 CID, Chennai; R. S. Panneerselvam, who was hitherto Commandant, TSP, XI Battalion, Rajapalayam, is the new DC, Secretariat Security, Chennai Police.

S. Rajeswari, hitherto SP, CCIW CID, has been posted as SP, Enforcement, Chennai.
