Madhu recounts the Hindi link

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Thespian actor Madhu, it is said, becomes nostalgic when participating in programmes pertaining to Hindi. It was no different the other day at Mar Ivanios College where Mr. Madhu inaugurated the Hindi Association ‘Satsang’.

The actor recounted how his father made him sign up for the B.Sc. programme at the M.G. College Thiruvananthapuram.

However, with the help of his father’s friend and Hindi professor K. Bhaskaran Nair, the actor moved over to the University College for the B.A. Hindi course.

For the M.A. course Mr. Madhu set his sights on the Banares Hindu University where he studied under litterateur Hazariprasad Diwedi.
