New fab: One of the floors in the Pantaloon fashion store stocked with the latest designer wear. BHUBANESWAR: Pantaloon Retail (India) Limited (PRIL) on Friday launched its second largest store of the country in Bhubaneswar with the total floor area spreading across 58,000 square feet. Featuring different retail formats such as eZone, Depot, Gen M, Mela, Planet Sports, Blue Sky and Food Bazaar, the store was targeting high income groups including IT professionals in the city. “Pantaloons has been expanding its presence across the country at rapid pace. We are sure that Pantaloon store will become preferred destination for fashion conscious people of the city, to help them keep abreast with the ever changing world of fashion, through our collections,” Sandeep Marwaha, operation head of PRIL’s east zone, said. The store having four flours is packed with latest models of electronic goods, sportswear, apparel and accessories for plus sized men and women and watches and electronic goods. Chief Executive Officer of PRIL Sanjeev Agarwal said the company held advantage as it had its own 17 brands in lifestyle segment, which would be sold in the store. He said the store at Bhubaneswar was the 35th unit spreading across 16 cities of the country. The company also introduced escalator in the store, which would be a first experience for many in the State.
