Sub-inspector dismissed

PANAJI: The Goa police on Wednesday dismissed a woman police sub-inspector Sandhya Gupta attached to the Anti-Narcotics Cell of the State police for her alleged involvement in a bribery case.

Director-General of Police B.S. Brar on Tuesday dismissed a police constable from the cell, Rajesh Warang, from service in the same case.

A team of State Anti-corruption Bureau allegedly caught Mr. Warang red-handed while taking Rs 10,000 on behalf of Ms. Gupta on Tuesday.
