GREATER NOIDA: The School of Architecture and Planning at Apeejay Institute of Technology here has suspended six students allegedly found involved in a ragging incident. Prashant Kumar Agrahari, a first year B.Arch. student, had lodged a complaint with the school authorities on Monday that he had been ragged by six seniors outside the campus this past week. He had also lodged a report with the police. “The incident did not take place inside our campus as the senior students stay in an accommodation outside. The fresher had gone to their room. The incident occurred on October 4, but the student did not complain to anyone till October 8, after which the director of the School appointed a committee to conduct an enquiry into the issue,” said Apeejay Institute Executive Director R. K. Verma on Friday. “The committee submitted the report to the management of the Institute, based on which the six students have been suspended,” added Prof. Verma.
