KURNOOL: ‘Navaratri’ celebrations got off to a start under the aegis of Geetha Prachara Sangham at Municipal Grounds here on Friday. The celebrations were initiated with ‘Ganapathi homam’. Matha Bhanumatham of Sadguru Swami Ramanatha Vedantha Prachara mandali delivered the discourse on the importance of Dasara celebrations. The celebrations will conclude on October 22. The discourses will be delivered everyday at 6 pm. Former legislator T.G. Venkatesh, S.V. Mohan Reddy, president of Geetha Prachara Sangham D.V. Ramana and others were present.
