Legal opinion to be taken before recruitments

Sangareddy: Minister for School Education Damodar Rajnarsimha has said that the government will take up recruitments to 8,000 school assistant posts after obtaining legal opinion. He was speaking to reporters in Nagsanpalli after offering prayers to Edupayala Vanadurga Bhavani on Friday.

Recruitments would be done as per the 610 GO and mistakes committed in earlier DSCs would not be repeated. The Group of Ministers was already on the job of identifying the mistakes committed in earlier recruitments in almost all government departments.

He urged the student community to understand that the purpose of concept schools was to provide quality education even in rural areas.

Mid-day meal

He invited social organisations to come forward to take up mid-day meal scheme in the areas of their choice.

Earlier, the Minister offered ‘silk vastram’ to Goddess Vanadurga on behalf of the State government and participated in the ‘Pallaki seva’ along with local legislator P. Sasidhar Reddy.

The Minister announced that Rs. 1.5 crore would be spent on construction of dormitories for pilgrims.

Metal road

Laying of a metal road from the main road to the temple would be taken up immediately after the completion of the tender process.
