VIJAYAWADA: To clear the extra rush of passengers, a special Dasara Pooja super fast express train is being operated between Bhubaneswar and Pondicherry. The train (No. 898) leaves Bhubaneswar every Friday till November 23, and Pondicherry (No. 897) on every Saturday till November 24. Train number 898 will depart Bhubaneswar at 11.45 a.m. and will reach Visakhapatnam at 7.10 p.m. It will reach Rajahmundry at 11.24 p.m., Vijayawada at 1.25 a.m., Ongole at 3.30 a.m. and Gudur at 6.15 a.m. the Train will reach Pondicherry at 1.35 p.m. In the return direction, the train number 897 will leave Pondicherry at 4.10 p.m. and will reach Gudur at 11.30 p.m. It will reach Ongole at 1.20 a.m., Vijayawada at 4 a.m., Rajahmundry at 6.30 a.m. and Visakhapatnam at 10.25 a.m. The train will reach Bhubaneswar at 5.30 p.m.
Extension
The Rajahmundry-Eluru passenger train has been extended up to Vijayawada and it will continue till October 22. Train number 400 Eluru-Vijayawada passenger will leave Eluru at 8.25 p.m. and will reach Vijayawada at 10.15 p.m.
In the return direction, train number 401 will leave Vijayawada at 4.15 a.m. and will reach Eluru at 5.50 a.m., a railway press release said on Friday.
