VISAKHAPATNAM: Naval Dpckyard conducted a seminar-cum- exhibition “HABISEM-07” on Shipboard Habitability with the core theme of “Enhancement of Ambience and Aesthetics through Modern Technology” at Naval Dockyard, here on Friday.
The seminar showcased the initiatives taken by the yard to address various aspects involved in outfitting warships and in strengthening the Navy-Industry partnership.
Vice Admiral Raman Prem Suthan, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief Eastern Command inaugurated the event.
Speaking on the occasion, he appreciated the large number of modern marine products at the exhibition.
The overwhelming response from various reputed industries such as Godrej, STACO, Featherlite etc. reflected the deepening bonds of cooperation between the Navy and industry.
