Ex gratia for kin of Ajmer blast victim

Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh on Friday announced an ex gratia of Rs. 1 lakh to the next of kin of Mohammed Shoaib Khan, who was killed in the blast in the dargah of the Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti at Ajmer on Thursday. Khan was a resident of Sewri in central Mumbai.

Security will be tightened across the State. A delegation of Maulanas led by director Mahesh Bhatt and Abraham Mathai, vice-chairperson of the State Minorities Commission, met Mr. Deshmukh to demand security at religious places.
