Thumping win for Young Association

NEW DELHI: Half-centuries by Amar Singh and Sanjay Sharma helped Young Association post a nine-wicket victory over Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) in the quarterfinals of the 17th Shahid Bhagat Singh memorial cricket tournament at the Nehru Stadium here.

The scores: CWC 163 in 35 overs (Karan Negi 68) lost to Young Association 164 for one in 30.3 overs (Amar Singh 64, Sanjay Sharma 57 not out).
