Workshop on software productivity improvement

Kochi: A workshop on ‘Software productivity improvement: techniques, tools and best practices’ is being organised by VIT University, in association with the Computer Society of India Div II and Div V; the IEEE Computer Society, Madras chapter; and the Software Process Improvement Network (SPIN), Vellore chapter; at VIT, Vellore, on October 26 and 27.
Using problem-based learning and sharing best practices/case studies, the workshop will address all facets of software development with emphasis on project planning and estimation, software measurement, resource management, process automation, reuse engineering, product-line engineering and so on.
