A somersault, says BJP

New Delhi: The Bhartiya Janata Party on Friday dubbed a “somersault” Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s “not the end of life” talk on the nuclear deal.

It said it would “renegotiate” the deal if it came to power.

“This government has become a government of U-turns. First, Dr. Singh said the deal is non-negotiable. Then Ms. Sonia Gandhi dubbed those opposing the deal as enemies of development. The Congress leadership has developed cold feet. They are afraid of facing elections,” senior BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu said here. — PTI
