Several programmes lined up for Moily’s State tour
HYDERABAD: A series of development programmes have been lined up for AICC general secretary Veerappa Moily to see personally when he visits the State for three days from October 24.
According to the tour programme released by the AP Congress Committee here on Friday, Mr. Moily will arrive on October 24 from New Delhi and attend the APCC executive committee and DCC presidents meeting and address the Congress Legislature Party.
On October 25, he will leave for Tadipudi in West Godavari district to inaugurate the Tadipudi lift irrigation project that will irrigate 85,000 acres. He will interact with the local ayacutdars and later open the Rajiv Gruhakalpa housing programme at Peddapuram.
Foundation stone
He will reach G. Moolapolam in I. Polavaram mandal in Mummidivaram constituency to lay the foundation stone for a bridge across Vriddha Gowthami river. On reaching Rajahmundry, Mr. Moily will lay the foundation stone for a rail over bridge, unveil statues of Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi and inaugurate BC hostel building.
He is also scheduled to open the Bethani College of Education and Lydia College of Pharmacy in Ravulapalem. He will return to the City in the evening.
On October 26, he will attend the APCC manifesto implementation committee and APCC coordination committee meetings.
