Ragging: police raid hostel

KOZHIKODE: The police on Friday conducted a raid on the hostel of Calicut Nursing College, attached to Calicut Medical College, following complaints of ragging of junior students by senior students. The raid, however, proved futile. Some junior students had complained to the Nursing College Principal that they had been ragged by senior students. The Principal handed over the complaint to the police after receiving a report from a committee appointed by him to go into the issue. — Staff Reporter
