Gayathri and Donaldo felicitated

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Athletics Association (TNAA) on Friday felicitated G. Gayathri and P. Donaldo, who had emerged as the best athletes in the under-18 girls’ and under-14 boys’ sections respectively in the national inter-zone junior athletics which was held in Vijayawada.

The TNAA President W.I. Davaram congratulated the two athletes. Gayathri had won gold in the 100m and 100 hurdles, the latter with a new meet record. Donaldo had won the triathlon event in his section.

Present on the occasion were among others, the TNAA Secretary A. Neelasivalingaswamy, the Chennai District AA President Arumugham and Treasurer Easwara Rao.
