Narrow win for Brindavan

CHENNAI: Brindavan defeated Flakt India by four runs in the 19th Seshadri memorial cricket tournament held here recently.

The scores:

Kancheepuram Town CA 143 in 26 overs lost to Guru Nanak Combines 147 for two in 26.1 overs (T. Selvaganapathy 63, S. Udaya Praveen 50 not out).

Brindavan 165 for eight in 30 overs (S. Abdul Khader 52) bt Flakt India 161 for eight in 30 overs (S. Jesubabu Honeyman 47, M. Anbarasan 43, Bharath four for 22).

Magnet 144 for nine in 30 overs lost to Sundar 145 for three in 25 overs (A. Bhaskar 40, Sivakumar 41 not out).

Dilip triumphs

Dilip Kumar (TNBSA) defeated Dinesh Kumar (Erode) 182-47 in a sub-junior billiards final of the Tamil Nadu Billiards and Snooker Association State-ranking tournament here on Friday.
