SALEM: The district administration has appealed to the voters in Salem II, Veerapandi, Panamarathupatti and Yercaud assembly constituencies, who are yet to hand over their images for including them in the photo electoral rolls, to submit form 001B along with their photographs by October 19. A press release that was issued here said that a total of 6,607 voters in four constituencies- 35 voters in Yercaud assembly segment, 1,029 in Salem II, 3,188 in Veerapandi and 2,355 in Panamarathupatti - were yet to hand over their images. FormsThe administration had already distributed form 001B to all the 6,607 voters through the village administrative officers (VAO). Officials had asked the voters to submit the form by September 30. But a majority of the voters had failed to do so, the release said. The voters should affix their passport size photograph in the form and submit it to the VAO or election section in the Salem taluk office by October 19. Officials asked the people to co-operate with the administration in preparing the photo electoral rolls with the images of all the voters in the district. More information regarding the forms and photographs could be obtained from the Revenue Divisional Office, the release added.
