MAHABUBNAGAR: Bharatiya Janata Party state president Bandaru Dattatreya alleged that the Central Government run by the UPA conspired with the Left parties over Indo-US nuclear deal.

Speaking to mediapersons after inaugurating the party office in Jadcherla he said that both Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh have backtracked from their earlier stand on nuclear deal and left it in cold storage just to keep the Left parties in good humour. He reminded that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had earlier announced that 123 agreement was non-negotiable while Sonia Gandhi branded antagonists of nuclear deal as anti-progressive.

Dattatreya said that the nuclear deal would be reviewed and renegotiated if NDA returned to power . He said that Telangana State would be carved out within hundred days after the NDA formed Government at the Centre.

He said that his party in the State would contest all 42 Parliament seats in the ensuing election be it mid-term or general elections. When asked whether there would be any tie-up with like-minded parties in the elections, he said that they would strengthen the party towards fighting the election on their own.

Dattatreya lashed at Left parties for keeping mum over the denial of minimum support price to rice on par with wheat. The Left parties could manage to make the Centre backtrack on the nuclear deal by threatening withdrawal of support but they failed to apply the same tactic for achieving minimum support price of Rs.1,000 per quintal for rice.

He said that his party would organise a dharna on October 15 at State headquarters demanding support prices. for all products.
