Lucknow: Nine members of an inter-district Bawariya gang involved in several cases of loot and dacoity in the State were arrested from Sarojini Nagar area here on Saturday, police said. Two jeeps, one motorcycle and six country-made weapons were recovered from their possession, Uttar Pradesh police’s Special Task Force (STF) sources said. They have admitted to their involvement in several criminal cases committed in Allahabad, Kaushambi, Banda, Kanpur, Mainpuri, Jhansi and Farrukhabad districts.
