Jalandhar: A local Congress leader was arrested here on Saturday on charges of illegal confinement of a man. Police arrested Sukhwinder Singh Sukha, a Zila Parishad member and a close confidant of acting Punjab Congress chief Mohinder Singh Kaypee, for unlawful confinement of Jaswinder Singh, one of his former employees. Sukha, a liquor trader, was later produced before a local court which sent him to 14 days judicial custody.
