BERHAMPUR: Lokanath Sahu, an accused person in the liquor tragedy at Golabandha village of Ganjam district in April last, surrendered at the Berhampur Sub-Divisional Magistrate’s (SDJM) court. He was sent to Berhampur circle jail as his bail plea was rejected. Eleven persons died and several others were seriously affected due to spurious liquor sold at the village in the incident.
