Thiruvananthapuram: The government is studying the report submitted by Director-General of Prosecutions P.G. Thampi on the statement of Director-General of Police (Prisons) M.G.A. Raman before the court, Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said on Saturday. He was talking to mediapersons here. No action had been contemplated so far, based on the report, Mr. Balakrishnan said. On the issue of the Kakkur Sub-Inspector allegedly beating up a youth for not stopping during checking, the Minister said the issue had been brought to his attention and investigation had been ordered. — Staff Reporter
