CAT quashes transfer

New Delhi: The Central Administrative Tribunal has quashed the posting order of a Kendriya Vidyalaya school principal from here to Bathinda holding that shifting him out to another state at the fag end of his career was against the transfer guidelines.

The transfer was effected in June this year, just 11 months before he was to retire.
