Jet pilot to blame for near-collision, says DGCA

New Delhi: The Directorate-General of Civil Aviation has held a Jet Airways pilot responsible for Sunday’s near-collision with an Air India flight at the Indira Gandhi International airport here a few days ago.

The inquiry, which examined the transcript of Air Traffic Control, alleged “deficiencies” in the knowledge of departure procedures among the Jet Airways flight crew.

The inquiry was carried out on the report of the pilot of flight IC-802, operating between Chennai and Delhi. — PTI
