Mental health week

NEW DELHI: To create awareness about the necessity of mental health for all and the need to develop tolerance and appreciate diversity, a number of programmes were organised at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital here as part of Mental Health Week-2007.

The week-long event included a walk from the hospital to India Gate in which over 1,000 people participated, release of two booklets, an art exhibition of paintings by people suffering from mental illness, awareness programmes in the general OPD of the hospital, launch of a community mental health campaign, etc.
