World Sight Day

Scope International, a subsidiary of Standard Chartered Bank, commemorated the World Sight Day, distributing Std. X curriculum audio guide books among 100 visually challenged children from 15 districts. V.K. Jeyakodi, State Commissioner for the Disabled, launched the books and handed over the sets to children studying in different schools, under the Integrated Education Implementation Committee. More than 250 Scope employees had volunteered for the production of the books. Four books on Science, Social Science, Language and English Reader have been reproduced in Tamil in audio form.
