DUBAI: While a final decision on the date of her departure to Pakistan has not been taken, the former Pakistani Prime Minister, Benazir Bhutto, has said President Pervez Musharraf is not seeking a delay in her return. “In fact, Gen. Musharraf has no problems with my return but the ruling coalition, especially the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) is afraid of my return,” she told Gulf News. Ms. Bhutto made these remarks during the course of Id ul-Fitr celebrations held at her Dubai residence on Friday. She said the precise schedule about her departure would be announced on October 16. She pointed out that she could fly out for Pakistan from Dubai. “I may fly from Dubai to Karachi to return to Pakistan.” Ms. Bhutto added that she would “go back [to Pakistan] on schedule, come what may”.
