dated October 15, 1957: D.M.K.’s warning

Mr. E.V.K. Sampath, M.P., addressing a public meeting held under the auspices of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam at the local municipal park on October 10, said that the D.M.K. was determined to fight against the Hindi imperialism. He said that the people of the South were totally opposed to the imposition of Hindi and any attempt on the part of the Centre to impose Hindi on the non-Hindi speaking people would have serious repercussions.
