Sonia condoles deaths

NEW DELHI: Congress President Sonia Gandhi condoled on Sunday the death of 11 pilgrims in a stampede at the famous Mahakali temple in Gujarat.

While conveying her condolence message to families of those who died in the incident and wishing speedy recovery to those injured, Ms. Gandhi also asked the state PCC President Bharat Solanki to visit the spot.

At the same time, the Congress President also urged the Centre to assist the State government in handling the situation.
