dated October 16, 1957: Assembly offices shifted

All the offices of the Madras Legislative Assembly formerly located in Government Estate, Mount Road, have been completely shifted to the Government Secretariat building in Fort St. George and have begun to function there from to-day (October 14). The question whether the vacated building in the Government Estate should be placed at the disposal of any State Government Department or rented out to others has not yet been decided.
