BSNL presents awards

NEW DELHI: In the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited award ceremony held here on Tuesday, Surat in Gujarat telecom circle, Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh circle and Erode in Tamil Nadu circle were adjudged best maintained telephonic systems.

In individual categories, P. P. Lokhande (Western telecom circle), Santosh Kumar Sharma (Himachal Pradesh circle), M. A. Shashidaran (Kerala circle), V. Manoharan (Southern circle), Neiker Reghavender (Maharashtra circle) and H. G. Changadiya (Gujarat circle) were awarded “Bharat Sanchar Seva Padak” for their meritorious services.
