THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The allotment process for the B.Ed. course in government, aided, and private self-financing colleges in the State will begin on October 19, a press note issued by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations here said. Candidates who figure in the B.Ed. rank list published on October 5 can register options at the web site www.cee.kerala. gov.in/bed from October 19 to October 25. Information Guidance and Option Facilitation Centres and help desks will function in all districts on these days to enable students who otherwise have no access to the internet. The list of such centres will be available at the web site www.cee-kerala.org. The first allotment will be done on October 30. Candidates who receive allotments should remit the fee in designated branches of Canara Bank from October 31 to November 2. In government and aided colleges, the fee will be Rs.1,500 and the caution deposit, Rs.300. In private self-financing colleges the fee will be Rs.22,500 and the caution deposit, Rs.300. The allotment of students who do not remit the fee during this period will be cancelled. Students who receive allotment should secure admission in the respective colleges on November 5 and 6.
