College gets new hall

Manipal: The air-conditioned Dissection Hall of the 54-year-old Anatomy Department of the Kasturba Medical College (KMC) at Manipal was inaugurated recently, according to a press release issued by the Manipal University here on Tuesday.
The release states that the Anatomy Department of the college now wears a new look with its aesthetically modified interiors. Manipal University has said that the air conditioned hall has been built on an area of 8,000 sq ft, with 35 stainless steel-top dissection tables, 300 stainless steel stools on aesthetically laid out vitrified tiles.
It has numerous learning aids including embryology models and radiographs.
