Youth festival in December

DAVANGERE: The Davangere district administration, in association with the M.S.B. college will conduct a two-day youth festival in the first week of December. More than eight competitions and cultural shows will be held as part of the event.
Chairing a meeting to discuss preliminary arrangements for the Kannada Rajyothsava and the youth festival, Deputy Commissioner M.B. Dyaberi said all colleges other than those of B. Ed and D. Ed, could take part in the festival. Each college could send one team for each event. He said all colleges, including those teaching medicine, engineering and MBA programmes in Davangere district could participate.
He also asked the Regional Transport Officer to insist on the use of Kannada on number plates for vehicles.
