Lakhisarai: Five persons on Tuesday robbed cash and other articles worth about Rs. one lakh from passengers in a running train in this district of Bihar, officials said. The five, who had boarded Udaipur-Howrah Ananya Express posing as passengers, looted valuables including watches and jewellery worth about Rs.90,000 and Rs.9,000 cash, Superintendent of Railway Police, Jamalpur, Vimal Kumar said. He said the five stopped the train by pulling alarm chain between Mananpur and Bhalui stations, got down and went into the adjoining forest.
