Network to promote millets launched

Machnoor (Medak): A unique national initiative called All India Millet Network by the Deccan Development Society, was formally launched in Machnoor Village on Tuesday by Nammalwar of the Tamil Nadu Organic Farmers Movement.

Introducing the concept of the network P V Satheesh, director of the society demanded that the Government accord the rightful place for millets in its food and agriculture policies and plans. —Staff Reporter
