The Visakhapatnam Port Trust set a record in unloading mono ammonium phosphate in bulk in a day. About 8098 tonnes of the chemical was unloaded with a gang shift output of 675 tonnes in bulk on Oct.14 from m.v. Fareast Sun surpassing the previous record of 7204 tonnes with a gang shift output of 600 tonnes made on Sept.11, 2007 from m.v. Hyok Sin-2. The Indian Potash Limited, Chennai, imported it.
