Medical team sent to Kudikadu

CUDDALORE: Following a sudden bout of fever in Kudikadu, in the past two days, District Collector Rajendra Ratnoo has deployed a medical team to screen the people there.

The team led by Deputy Director (Health) R.Meera is camping in the village to offer medical aid.

Of the 83 patients diagnosed on Tuesday, 51 were suffering from fever.

From 41 of the afflicted persons blood samples were collected for test and after the results were obtained necessary action would be initiated, he stated in a statement.
