NEW DELHI: With the arrest of four persons, the Delhi police on Tuesday claimed to have busted a gang of robbers involved in nine cases of robbery and burglary in Outer Delhi and Haryana.
According to the police, many cases of robbery were being reported from Kanjhawala and Bawana in the past one month.
On Monday the police received a tip-off that those involved in the robberies would assemble near Auchandi border to rob a wine shop. A raiding party was constituted which arrested two members of the gang. Two loaded country-made pistols and two spring-actuated knives were recovered from the boys, the police said.
