‘No minister has complained of any difference’ Skips any comment on Cabinet reshuffle Jaipur: Senior BJP leader Gopinath Munde on Wednesday allayed fears of discontentment in the Rajasthan Government, saying there was a strong bond of coordination between the State administration and the party. “There is a strong bond of coordination between satta aur sangathan (government and organisation). Nor is any minister in the Cabinet dissatisfied,” Ms. Munde told reporters here after a joint meeting of party and government representatives. “The Vasundhara Raje Government is performing excellently for the past four years and none of her Cabinet colleagues have complained or reported of any political difference,” said Mr. Munde, who is in-charge of the party’s state affairs. On few occasions two ministers -- G S Tiwari and Madan Dilawar -- did not attend meetings but that does not mean anything wrong with them or the government, he clarified. “No dissident activity has come across me so far,” he asserted. On rumours of a Cabinet reshuffle in the State, Mr. Munde said no such subject was taken up in the meeting. “The Cabinet reshuffle is the prerogative of the Chief Minister, and if I am consulted or asked to do any exercise I will report to my party high command and not before the media,” Mr. Munde said. It was decided in the meeting that Ms. Raje and State party functionaries would jointly visit each of the 32 districts by next year to address public grievances and popularise the BJP Government’s plans and works underway. One such meeting would be held at Chittorgarh on October 25-27, Mr. Munde said. A poll preparedness plan for Assembly elections in December next year was completed in 25 districts, and the remaining seven districts would be completed by November 15, he said. The State unit would also plan rallies to popularise the schemes of the government. -- PTI
