Cotton trading inaugurated

ADILABAD: Adilabad MLA C. Ramchander Reddy and Joint Collector G. Ravi babu on Wednesday formally inaugurated cotton trading at Adilabad agriculture market committee (AMC) yards.

Though farmers were initially anxious about the opening price, the price of Rs. 2,151 per quintal of A grade cotton at the customary auction made them seem happy. — Staff Reporter
