TIRUNELVELI: Two farmers were killed and a three-year-old boy was injured on Wednesday when a sand-laden lorry hit them. The police said Thangaraj (45) of Puthupatti Colony Street near Mukkoodal, V. Pandaram (30) of the same area and his son Arumugam were returning home in two bicycles after completing farming activities for the day. When the speeding lorry hit the bicycles, Thangaraj and Pandaram were killed on the spot while Arumugam was injured and admitted to the Tirunelveli Medical College Hospital.
