Quota demand

Jammu: The minority Dalit Christian community on Wednesday charged the State Government with a discriminatory attitude towards them and demanded reservations in jobs and educational institutions.

“We are being treated very badly and discriminated against on all fronts. So, we demand reservations for us in all walks of life including jobs and educational institutions besides trade incentives in the State,” Jammu and Kashmir Dalit Christian Samaj Dal president G.M. Sheetal told reporters here.
