Plea for train stop

KOZHIKODE: An appeal has been made to the railway authorities to provide stops for various trains that pass Feroke.

At the annual meeting of Feroke Youngmen’s Library and Reading Room, it was pointed out that people from Malappuram district would benefit immensely if stops are provided for certain trains at Feroke Station.

Also, Feroke Station was the closest rail link from the Calicut University and Karipur airport.

It has been suggested that Train No. 6627 and 6628 up and down West Coast Express, Train No.6603 and 6604 Maveli Express, Train No. 6527 and 6528 Yeshwantpur Express,

Train No. 6305 and 6306 Inter –City Express and Train No. 6345 and 6346 Netravati Express be provided stops at Feroke.

The meeting also resolved to take up repair of the Kottapadam Road.
