ERODE: A farmer was killed in a road accident on Tuesday. According to the police Kumarasamy (52) and his brother Thulasimani (50) of Anthiyur was going on a motorcycle along the Athani main road when near the Pudumettur junction a police jeep proceeding to Sathyamangalam dashed against the motorcycle. The brothers were seriously injured. Kumarasamy was admitted in Coimbatore Medical College Hospital where he died. Anthiyur police are investigating the case.
