THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Actors Mohanlal and Padma Priya have won the first All India Radio Malayalam Film Awards 2007. AIR southern region deputy director-general G. Jayaraj, who announced the awards here on Wednesday, said Mohanlal was selected for his performance in Resathanthram, Vadakkumnathan and Keerthi Chakra and Padmapriya for her performance in Karutha Pakshikal and Vadakkumnathan. The award winners were selected through an audience poll conducted by AIR. Mr. Jayaraj said that the response through letters and e-mail was highly encouraging. Notebook won the best film award. Bobby-Sanjay won the award for best screenplay.
